I don't want to be to negative, but dvblogic strength is their understanding of tv, drivers and bringing any source into a computer and such, not developing a DVR solution or a UI with great usability. If Media Browser delivers what it's promising dvblogic would benifit greatly beeing their tv backend.

I really hope dvblogic will add support for MB3. Testing it with servewmc now and it works but feels unnecessary complicated

At the moment we do not have any immediate plans on implementing MB3 support. But will gladly support anyone who would be willing to do it.

I think it would be in your best interest to at least think about it. Especially considering that MB3 is growing exponentially. The amount of devices supporting it is growing by the day! A quote from the developer, Luke:
The MB3 Roku app has seen 25k+ downloads in just a few short weeks and isn't slowing down. [DVBLogic] could be the back end that powers the first live tv app in the Roku store.

Think about it ;)

I'm using DVBLink since Version 2 and love it.

The development of Media Center seems to be that slow or non existent. MediaBrowser 3 is really impressive and is for me the only candidate where I think of replacing my MCE just with MediaBrowser 3 but only if TV is completely integrated.

As far as I know DVBLogic has some kind of API available for developers to gain access to the EPG and Streams of DVBLink, so there is a basic start of it.

I have to agree, MB3 is a very good replacement for WMC and I would really like a better integration between MB3 and DVB Link. Hopefully the developers of DVB Link understand what we customers want.

Add another hoping for a dvblink mb3 plugin. And second that dvblink to media center sux (trashed that and have been using xbmc and dvblink as soon as dvblink pvr addon was released. Before that was using media portal and xbmc. so looking for a direct link -dvblinkplugin-mb3 server- media browser theatre.

I would love this to happen - if we can have a plugin for xbmc then this should be straightforward for the team. It would certainly be a reasonable paid option for me too to have a direct linkage rather than use tv source to mce to mediabrowser.

Oberon - is there any documentation on the API for dvbkink or information that I can look at or pass to the devs on the mediabrowser site that could help turn this into a plugin if you are not planning anything official?

Thanks

I wish to add my support for a direct DVBLink -> MediaBrowser plugin. The current workaround using ServerWMC works but WMC is an abandoned product. Will it be in Windows 9?
