Apple TV - 'spinning wheel' during live TV

Postby DaveH » Wed Mar 15, 2017 8:05 pm

Does anyone know why I get the 'spinning wheel' (sorry I don't know what it's called) in the middle of the screen when watching live TV? It's getting very annoying. There is nothing wrong with the video stream itself, just that thing going round and round all the time. :x I don't get it on my other clients (iOS and MacOS).

1. Go to guide page.
2. Select a channel from the list at left hand side.
3. App starts streaming the channel with spinning wheel in the centre.

That's it.

I get this t random times too, have to stop the stream and start it again and that fixes it.
Haven't seen any pattern that causes it.

OK, I wonder if it's a server issue (or combination of client and server)? I have a QNAP TS-253A running IPTV. Also, it's a hard wired connection to the router, not WiFi.
