IOS app video playback problem

All video from Channel 4 HD via satellite in the UK (Live or Recorded) play only sound and no video in the latest DVBLink IOS client (version 3.5.3). All other channels are okay. Alternative video apps such as VLC on IOS play the video okay. Video information below. Could you allow the option to choose VLC or an alternative as external player rather than 8Player? (the free version of 8Player is no longer an option, and besides, the interface is horrible. Any reason not to use VLC, or allow user to choose like your Android client?)

Hello, same problem for me - the complete transponder of M7Group on Astra3A is playing only sound without video. PC web browser plays everything ok.

Maybe some problem with the built-in player?

UPDATE
- I have upgraded the server version 5.1 to 6.0 on Synology - since then the IOS client crashes immediately after start on an IPad (while trying to connect the server) and runs very unstable on Iphone (crashes while trying to scroll down the channels, still no video on some channels), both versions 10
- on PC client (Windows 10) all works fine (like the previous version)
- I tried to install the client on Android - it starts, but plays only sound without video on ALL channels, when selecting the external player (MX Player), everything works fine

CONCLUSION
- the latest IOS client has problem even to connect to the 6.0 server running on Synology (at least on IOS10)
- the internal player is very poor - solved with MX Player on Android, but on IOS an option to choose some more mature player than 8Player would be appreciated (like NPlayer for example)

You see, there on the iOS is not permitted just pick up a dialogue with player selection. Each player should support "transport stream" and should implement some functionality, for allowing dvblink to stream the data...

I have the same problems with some channels. From my testing, its only channels with 1080i that have the problem with image freezing but sound keeps playing fine. All 720p channels plays fine, so might be something to do with deinterlacing not working properly?

It is really would be great to be able to use an external players on the iOS app. But it is not so easy as it is in the android app.

But its not a iOS player problem since same channel can be watched via EyeTV iOS app. It's a transcoder issue with DVBlink.

(I use DVBlin with WMC, DVBLink iOS to schedule WMC recordings but i watch live TV exclusively via EyeTV iOS since their transcoder is a lot more stable with Freesat UK)

When pausing and restarting some static pictures appears. Using in iPad pro, don't think can be hardware issue, VLC plays TV on the same device ok
Does anyone have an idea what is the root cause for this issue? All OS and app updated to the latest version.
