Amazon Fire TV

Postby mlduncombe » Tue Aug 30, 2016 5:24 pm

Hello,

Theatre 1.0.1(8)

I am using DVBLink Theatre on my Amazon Fire TV but when playing back a recording the pause button only pauses playback for a few seconds and I am unable to fast forward or rewind from the remote. Am I missing something, should this be working in this version?

Cheers

Pause should be working, while ff/rw are not supported. Only jumps are supported.

Thanks Oberon.

For me when playing back recorded TV the pause will pause the recording for a second or so only and then its starts playing again. Again on recorded TV jumping back forward does not do anything :-(

Came to DVBlink from Kodi, which has way to much baggage for my liking, I just need the following

Watch live TV, [pause when the phone rings
record TV
Playback recorded TV, skip past the adverts

Theatre comes soooo close.

Hi

I have brought Amazon FireTV and tried for first time as currently we using windows media center as at the moment we cant get rid of it due to better live tv pause and ff and rw etc ALSO our major factor is Subtitle!!!!

so I tried Amazon FireTV as i was juggle which one to go for Apple TV or FireTV so glad made me desicion to go for FireTV which is Android build in rather than restrictive TVos ecosystem and not sure about subtitle.

so tried that our download dvblink theatre app and tried it and I have to say I'm damn please with it! subtitle work etc mean i can able to soon get rid of WMC at last!!!!!

I would like to say to DVBlogic keep going and focus to improve more on dvb theatre app like live pause and want default subtitle setting to on rather me to put subtitle on everytime when using dvblink app on. - a mega thumb up from us to you @Obreon and DVBlogic team! I would tell anyone recommend use this product, as i was close call to move to Team Mediaportal - but glad i didnt!

as per i mention need improve live pause on live TV, etc and i am using Amazon FireTV box verison at the moment. :D :D :D

Thanks

What version of the DVBLInk Theatre do you have? In one of the latest build of the app the timeshift is implemented (works together with the latest DVBlink server version/build)
Of course it is not so flawlessly as would have liked (you see there are some OS and hardware restrictions) but it is a quite usable.

The DVBLink Theatre app was released a week ago, so it already should be in the FireTV App store. There is a support for timeshifting.

Afternoon,

I tried type this morning as i don't know what happened with forum went down.

anyway. let me type again.

I have updated the Dvblink server to latest version (13310) :)

I tried on fireTV and didnt work on pause so I checked and guess what it was version 1.0.0(8) that what i get download last Sunday evening as you mention it was release over a week ago.
I decide to use forum that you did give apk link so i download and put on fireTV as it refused update so I had to uninstall it and install new version (1.0.3 (12)) .
try again pause and it work! perfect!

my next things would need improve default autio and subtitle set on on next update/release?

thanks

Hi

I just want to update about the FireTV app store - look like you need to contact Amazon Appstore as it incorrect file upload

as on app store saying verison 1.0.3 and date released last August. when you click download the dvblink app and running it and showing version is 1.0.0(8)

that might explain why wrong file? which why i did manually get apk from your forum and install on fireTV.

I just want make you aware of this.

Thanks

Logos - yes, they should be displayed. As for app store, the latest Theatre will be available there soon.
