Finally setup my new ATV 4, first app I installed was VLC, very impressed with how well it handles DVBlink recordings and also WTV recordings.

Looking forward to the release of the native DVBlink App for TVOS.

How long before I can become a Windows free house I wonder?

I installed VLC and it will play live and recorded TV but with no audio. Did you have to tweek your DVBLink server or Apple TV to get the audio to work?

It just worked. Sources were UK FreeSAT satellite TV recordings direct from the DVBlink recorded TV folder and also Windows Media Center WTV files. I think the ones I tried were only SD content.

Probably these channels have AC3 sound, which is disabled in VLC.

Oberon,
I think it is an AC3 recording. Any work around for this on the server? Thanks and I'm looking forward to the DvBlink app!

How is the progress on the apple tv app? Are you half way there?
Is it possible to test the app via Testflight? :D

Looks like we need to wait until April and it will require a new version of the server software.

I'm new to forum and DVBLogic but already loving it after one day of testing.

I have previous experience from EyeTV, Kodi, MythTV, HDHomerun etc and have tried these as a center for home media. I've also used different AppleTV4 apps for streaming home media and live TV. Channels app (getchannels.com) works ok, but the UI has been messed up in latest versions and the most important part of PVR functions are missing. I've been actively taking part in Channels Testflight and seen that they have an active team, maybe just not enough vision and focus on the interface.

AppleTV4 seems to be nearly doing the trick, this DVBLogic app could be the finish touch ;)

If possible, I'd want to participate in the AppleTV4 beta :)

It's awfully quiet here and also on the DVBlink main site about the upcoming Apple TV App. I'm really surprised that there's seemingly an interview for an Australian newspaper, but nothing official from the DVBlink team on their own site.

@Oberon - any official news for us?

Since I want to watch all channels using aTV i checked the channels.app. Apparently I need a m3u file for that but how do I make that with a HDHomerun?

Same problem with rIPTV. Where to get this m3u file.
