Oberon, do you mean in the ATV4 Kodi App?

Any idea why they aren't supported in MrMC?

MrMC is Kodi as far as I know, which means that these features should work in DVBLink there as well.

It is not a permanent solution to access it thru Kodi/MrMC. That's why there is need of a native app for the aTV4 just like there is for IOS.

The IOS app should easily be converted to aTV. Many developers are doing same ie converting there IOS only to IOS + aTV4.

I've given TVHeadEnd a go. It's a lot trickier to setup but it does support the two features missing with DVDBLink in MrMC - watching recordings in progress and series record based on the EPG. So yes it depends on the client (i.e. MrMC vs Kodi) and the features supported by the PVR backend.

...slightly off topic, but can you delete series recordings from within MrMC? I find this can't be done from Kodi / DVBlink which is a bit of a show stopper (pun not intended).

I also tried TVH and agree - it's hard to setup and for the moment it's parked for me as getting at least 7 day EPG is beyond my patience.

Great. Can't wait. In need of beta-testers? I have experience with Xcode & Side Loading.

I was thinking about set series recording issue that others have reported here below on mrmc. It is on 15.x skin specific (only available for default Kodi skin) and, if skinning has been changed for mdmc, will not be available.

Hi Oberon, just to clarify - I see this issue of not being able to delete repeat series schedules on KODI running on Raspberry Pi (OpenElec 6) with the standard Kodi skin.

(Feel free to bump this to the Kodi topic http://forum.dvblogic.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=28322&start=60 if you wish)

Ok, these options weren't apparent when I was testing DVBLink with MrMC, so I'm not sure where they were hiding or perhaps what setting I had to change to get them working.

I had a look but there's no reference to this under the system info, just says MrMC 1.1 I'll take a stab and say it's based on 15 being the latest stable release.

Yes, go to TV > Timer, you'll see a list of scheduled recordings including series schedules. Hold down the track pad on a schedule and select delete. Well this is what I do with TVH under MrMC! May not work or be available within DVBLink under MrMC.

Great - good to know that in general Kodi (MrMC) can delete series schedules and that this is more specific to DVBlink. May mean a few hours getting XMLTV grabber to work could be worth it.

I would be interested in the deinterlacing method we will be able to use with your App for 1080i streams.
If your App is able to utilize something like the 2x yadif deinterlacing, then I'll immediatelly buy the new probaly required Server :)

Can you give me a info about that please?
