new Lollipop android client working well on Nexus 7 (2nd generation) model but couple of things;
- the app doesn't seem to go into full screen mode on Lollipop like it used to on pre-Lollipop. ie. the bottom android navigation screen is always on the screen.
- from selecting a channel to the channel first showing takes about 22 seconds. On my main HTPC the same same channel takes around 3 seconds. Is there any way for the start of the stream to be speeded up?
- It seems relatively easy to crash the app - for example when a stream is preparing to start up and then if the back key is pressed, then often the app will lock up to the point where the tablet needs to be restarted.

Once the stream is up and running though, it appears to be rock steady using hls on both a Samsung s3 running CM11 nightly, and a Nexus7 running Lollipop.

Now that I have a working back end.. I extracted the apk from my phone and sideloaded onto my ADT-1 - I can confirm that DVBlink android client runs on Android TV but it require using a mouse to initiate playback...
